Dear Christians, looking for verses that deal with speaking?

Ever since ive been reading the bible ive been talking to people with more confidence and know what to say before i speak but, i can improve. Any verses that deal with speaking?

talk less and listen more is a better way to look at that.talking with wisdom takes practice more then anything.

What you are experiencing is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, called  witnessing power. It is an amazing thing, a gift that empowers you to say things with a boldness you never thought you would have.

Jesus talks about this extensively:

11"When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, 12for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say." Luke 12:11-12

8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. John 16:13-14

And Paul says:

"26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express" Romans 8:26

13This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. I Cor 2:13

the book of Proverbs is FILLED with info on speaking & the tongue. James also deals with this a lot.
