  1. It's a fraud. Dont send them any money and say goodbye to that job offer.

  2. 99% sure it is fraud.  There are so many job offers that are simply scams to get money out of you

Let me guess a few things

    (a) You received the job offer by Email

    (b) The Email account used by the contact is a free Email account (e.g. yahoo, gmail, live, yahoo, myway etcetc)

    (c) You have to pay an astronomical amount of money for a visa which is "non-refundable

    (d) You have to pay by wiring money via Moneygram or Western Union (as there is no recourse with this method)

If I have got any or all of those things right then you can be sure it is a scam

You send the money and then they come back to you (either for more money until you can send no more) that your application was declined and that the fee is non-refundable as it was for processing fees, and you can kiss goodbye to both your money and the job offer

If you are still in doubt then read up on Avensa - it is bankrupt and doesn't exist anymore ..... so why would they be offering you a job? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avensa

  3. Hello Abhi,

I also got job offer from avensa airlines and they are also asking some money, I am thinking also that what should to do?, So, my dear friend please confirm then give money.

If u can call me then call me 9868405383, or may contact my e-mail id, actually today is my last submission time for money.

I would like to say that think about it and try to find more information, if u find proper answer then tell me also.

I am sending something also that as below:-

Avensa (Aerovias Venezolanas Sociedad Anonima) was a Venezuelan airline, which is in the process of financial restructuring, after it went into bankruptcy due to poor management in 2002. It operated from its hub at Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetía.

Technically Avensa still exists, with a single Embraer EMB 120 Brasilia aircraft keeping the name alive. But for all intents and purposes the company is defunct. Around Venezuela's airports, Avensa relics can be seen everywhere: old check-in signs, rusted luggage carts, derelict airplane stairways, the name still visible through cracked blue paint.

I find it from net, so i think all said right that its fraud.

  4. If you mean that you are looking for employment, and this airline is asking for money from you,  it is a scam.

Stay away - Warning - Fraud evident.

  5. Mmhh...there are several airlines asking for the same. Here in Spain we went through a similar situation with a private small airline company a few months ago, and it was reported as a bit of "escandaloso" by the pilot´s union...however it is legal and not necessarily a scam. Some airlines ask the potential employees to pay for the training (scholarship, material and in some cases the training flight hours), and it is up to the applicants to assess the return of the investment, according to their level of salary and length of the contract.

I cannot help you more when it comes to Avensa. You perfectly know that this airline used to be a very successful one in the early 90´s, yet now I a bit lost on their business performance. Sorry that I cannot give you more information.

    Cheers
