I will go to Italy to work on organic farms with WWOOF.. I have 4 choices but can only choose one.. What is the best?

Ciao. I think Catania could be the best choice. Also Siracusa is nice, but smaller...

In Sicily it will be sunny everyday... :-P

I can recommend you bari.....I'm an italian girl and my parents come from this beautiful city. people are very nice and kind.

Sorry not four regions but two

Siracusa and Catania in Sicily

Bari and Cutrifiano in Puglia.

I prefer Puglia, quite place sea and nice countryside very friendly people.

i guess i'd choose catania, because sicily is simply great, and catania is a very nice town, and there are other nice towns around. in sicily you find everything, culture, nightlife, great food, and nice people. i really advice you to learn some italian, because you'll see , the italians are so much nicer when they see you at least try to speak there language, you'll get to know them much better, and you'll find a lot of company!

If you prefer a great setting I suggest Cutrofiano, because it's in an area called Salento, that is one of the most beautiful natural regions here in Italy.

If you prefer being near to other cities and you plan to visit also Rome or other towns you 'd better choose Bari because in this case it's the best position you can choose.

Siracusa would be great but it's too far from civilazation.... How long do you plan to stay? Catania would be much better... you'd at least be close(er) to a major university and to a major city (and air port).

Catania, I lived in Sicily, Catania is  nice, you have Mount Etna closeby and the wonderful town of Taormina with its great beaches!

I'm from Apuliae (Bari and Cutrufiano), but I've been to Sicily and I know for sure it is as beautiful as my region and people are soooo nice!!!!

Anyway, Siracusa is a small city and Cutrufiano is a village, so , even if they are located in really nice areas, I would suggest a bigger city (Catania or Bari)
