Well I am a bit set in my ways. So I will most likely decorate mt alter, do a fertility dance for my husband and then feast away the night.

  1. Probably a simple ceremony so my kids can participate. Happy Lughnasadh everybody!!

  2. I always enjoy decorating my alter, and  preforming the harvest ritual! ^_^

  3. I will be getting ready for my birthday on August 2nd. I am the "first harvest" (firstborn) of my parents.

  4. I'm not sure why your planning on a fertility dance when Lammas is a harvest festival, but to each their own.  We're having an open circle and donating blood at the local Red Cross blood drive.  Since I view Lammas/Lughnasadh as a time when the god/goddess sacrificed themselves in the form of our crops, I thought the "sacrifice" of blood fit in well with the theme.

  5. I'm going to be at my lakeside cabin tomorrow, so I'll probobly honour the summer ending, and I'll meditate by the lake, swim in the lake, and read in the forest. :). I can't bring any of my tools (candles, oils, my wand, chalice) etc, because my family up there doesn't know about me. So i'll just relax and appreciate nature and summer :)

EDIT** and eat bread of course

  6. will all gather down by the bay and each of us will bring a different essential oil....each brings a candle and lights it according to the star sign....then we will sacrifice a local virgin and make it look like it was a drug-related murder.....and then maybe eat some humus and wheat toast...whta about you?

    I'm kidding.....hello?....I don't even like humus....-wendy

  7. I will be honoring nature sea-side with my sweetie who surprised me last night with plans he made for us for a weekend away to Cape Cod.  As he is just beginning to learn more about Wicca, we can have a nice chat on the beach about what Lughnasadh is and why/how it is celebrated by Wiccans, and then we can go out for an appropriate "feast" later.  I will probably take a solitary walk at some point and just have a chat with my Gods while enjoying the great outdoors by the ocean.
