  1. The best place to look for values of guitars is not on dealer sites that charge retail, but a true marketplace like eBay.  Look for both active and sold items (you must be a registered user to see sold prices.)

No F370s models have sold recently and none are currently listed.  Other vintage guitars such as the 360s and 390s have sold in the $300 to $600 range.  Most that I saw included the original hardshell case.  Look closely at pictures and read descriptions carefully to see how closely the condition of what you have compares to what's being sold.

Some Takamine models from this era are known as 'lawsuit' guitars because the company was sued by Martin for making essentially exact copies of Martin models.

If yours is all-original and in top condition and you have the original case AND you have the ability to not only take good high-resolution pictures, but write an enticing ad for the auction, you will do better than the average seller.  This guitar may go for as high as $700 to $800.  I saw dealers offering new F370s models  in the $800 range.

If you don't plan to sell it but just want to know its (inflated) collector's price guide value, or want to insure it - without taking the time to do any research whatsoever, I'll go out on a limb and say 'book' price is $1200, give or take a C-note.
