geez...

honestly,its hard to picture any of them having kids..

what,with their selfishness & determination...

& they are always seen solving crimes, nary a hint of 'love'

Hmmm...maybe he won't be a good father

(considering that he is still young)

because although he is extremely sharp & smart but you can see traces of immaturity when it comes to emotions

Near is thinking how L will act on the situation...

although it was explained why he had to do so, but in some ways it just goes to show that he dont trust his own judgment.

That he had to think like L, not think like "Near"

he's not fit to be a father yet.

He was 'trained' to be a detective, to be hard & think like the criminal

Not to be loving & nurturing as a real father
