  1. I think in the last episode the Japanese laugh that Light did was WAY better then the English one. =3

  2. Light's voice could have been a little more manical and maybe slightly deeper, but his voice is fine. The acting was pretty good too.

Naomi Misora's voice was good. THere is nothing wrong with it.

L's voice sometimes is a little too deep. It was better at the beginning when he was first introduced and maybe a few episodes afterward. Later, his acting changed and his voice sounds way too deep.

Near's is better than the japanese because he actually sounded like a boy. The japanese sounds nothing like a boy. The voice is too feminine in the japanese version.

Mello's voice is good but his accent and the way he pronounced and emphasize words is weird. I did not like it too much, but overall, it is slightly less than decent.

Matsuda's is perfect. I think it is actually better than the original.

Misa's voice is not as high as in the original, which is why I liked the dubbed more than the subbed. I hated Misa when I watched the subs partially because of her annoying and high pitched voice. It sort of fits her character, but Shannon Chan Kent, nailed the role.

Ryuk actually sounded like a shinigami so his voice is very fitting. The japanese's sound like the voice had to be forced, but Brian Drummond made it almost natural.
