Death Penalty: Texas executed man last night for the murder and rape of 2 teenage girls 15 years ago.

I believe the condemned man got what he deserves, but if it is wrong to kill then what gives man the right to kill a killer and then claim "Justice has been served".

He killed someone innocent, killing him protects innocent people.

Like the saying goes, an eye for an eye.

Why should we have to pay for his food and lodging and cable and work out after he raped and murdered two teenage girls?  That's not justice.  He doesn't serve a purpose in our society.

Just like child molesters, they serve no purpose, they are sick and will never be able to recover...that is just my opinion.

If the evidence is overwhelming, I have no idea why they don't drag the convicted out to the courthouse steps after the verdict and hang them immediately.

Personally, I think we should have harsher punishments.  Would you rob a bank if it meant having your hand cut off?  It's not cruel or unusual punishment.  It's just giving the criminals what they deserve.

ima sorry to say it but if you do the crime your open for any punishment within reasonable logic. i mean people should know( i live in houston by the way) in texas exspecially that if you kill your probally gonna be killed

IMO when someone commits such brutal acts they lose all right to be called "human". They are dangerous animals and should be treated as such. I will say however the death penalty should be applied ONLY in those cases where absolutely no doubt exists as to the criminals guilt.

Killing is not wrong. Murder is. There is a difference. I don't think death penalty is a deterrent. And I wish it would save the citizens money but it doesn't. If anything, it will give closure to the victim's families.

Do you know what they do in prison to rapists? why do you think they keep em in there so long? for punishment.

It's wrong to take it upon ones self to kill.   I am suspicious of Texas Death Penalty and want to see it suspended.  They seem to lack the proper checks and balance, but in this case, the guy was known to be guilty.  It only got attention because he's a Mexican National.   I do believe the Mexican government should of been notified and allowed to watch the proceedings.
