Death note as a movie? any info?

i know they made a live action one in japan, but i imdb'd it and it said death note (2010) !!! does anyone have any info on this since the page is blank on imdb? thanks!

Loved this anime. They are releasing the Japanese DVD 09.16.08 while a sequel is already finished I believe, don't know when it will be released though. You can find more information here http://www.deathnotefilms.com/ hoped that helped.
