episode 25 though you probably shouldn' t skip...death note is not the kinda of anime that you can miss an episode and still get what the heck is going on..though if your rewatching enjoy =D

Episode 25, pretty much exactly in the middle of it, but you might not want to see the next one after that since I think they say somethings about his funeral and Watari's too.

It might have some reference to L's death in several more episodes, but nothing to actually make you remember he's dead if you dont want to.
