Debaitors,whats the/a HAPPY center between for and/or against that thing?

It is an age old question, isn't it?  Are there ideal responses that can be applied to all situations, or is each situation unique and requiring an individual answer?

Is it always wrong to lie, or can a lie be justified as serving a higher good?

Are they really with us or against us in black and white, or is the world a pallet of gray colors with few such absolutes?

What is the happy medium between the extremes in life?

Certainly Plato debated these things, and probably others before him, and multitudes since.

I have no answer, I just try to do the best I can.
