Debate: That Australia is the finest country on earth?

Sure, why not?  It's got an awesome history, ancient peoples, tends to mostly stay out of other countries' business, (mostly).  It's got beautiful landscapes, etc.  Therefore, though, almost every country could be considered to be the finest.  Australia has had some human rights issues along with the others in the world, also, i.e., it's treatment of the Aborigines.  The good ole US has the same shameful history.  Maybe we're all the same.

hi shani fani i think that australia is not the finest place on earth because their are richer countries and prettier countries and countries with better leaders. but i agree that no country can really be labelled the best or worst

Not now, that the Brits are getting more gold medals in the Olympics than us!

Actually; for friendliness, stability,  Australian-like culture and prettiness, I don't think you can go past New Zealand!

I like Australia a whole lot but it would be wetter (a good thing) if the Aussies had thought to build higher mountain ranges.

And it is the only place in the world where *all* the snakes are poisonous!
