well i have a debating speech adn ive started and have now written the introduction... just hope some people will give me some feedback such as lenth and ideas on how to fix

Should The Media censor its books and films? ( affermitve)

The Media controls the contents of millions of books and films, which worldwide are consumed without question into the minds of billions of people both young and old 24/7 around the clock. In our efficient world that we have today in average most households, schools and public libraries have available TVs, books and computers which are liberally used without restraint towards the general public, this fact therefore must ask us together as one to question whether the media should censor its books and films from the violent, sexual explicit or negative ideologies and protect those vulnerable to these destructive contents that are generally found in books and films.

The length seems good for an introduction.  It'd be better if you could provide a real life example (can't think of anything now since it's really late at night but I'll get back to you if I can) to further prove your point.  The idea of age appropriate censoring is probably the most easily justified.
