  1. That just means that the card is good thru the end of May 2012.  So, the first day of June 2012 it wont be any good.  The bank/company should send you a new card before that one goes bad/expires.  If it gets close and you haven't gotten one yet, contact your bank to see if a new one has been sent to you.   It also means that in May of whatever year is when you got your card and for about 3 years it is good.

  2. All the way until the last day of may in 2012.

  3. I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking what month you might have applied for your card?

If it expires in May, then chances are you applied in June. I'm not really sure, though. Why would that matter? Your bank would be able to tell you, if it's important.

  4. typically the month it expires is the month it was issued

  5. You must have opened your bank account in May, normally it takes four years for the card to expire. Which at that time 5/12, they will issue you a new card.

  6. until may 31st
