Debit card reference?

what is the card reference on my debit card

have tried my name 4 digit code on back next to the security code and card type nothing works.

If you have a DEBIT only card?????? It doesn't work as a Visa MC card? Is that your problem?

~~I would assume it is the security code nimber on the back of the card as you tried. Try the last 4 digits of the main card number. If that desn't work, try leaving it blank, as sometimes cards have seperate numbers assigned for employee use, and yours might not have it. If it won't let you through after all those, then you need to call the company you are paying.~

it depends on what debit card you have it may be your security code on the back
