What is considered ALOT of debt? I am 21 y.o and I owe about 3,000 worth of credit cards. But I don't shop to I drop I use my cards to pay for my education (whatever my scholarships do not cover and financial aid can't cover), my books, and sometimes gas. I just get real depressed and think my credit will be ruined for the rest of my life. (I also have my car in my name; and I did not need a co-signer so I think that is a good thing). But I think I am in too much debt. I feel very overwhelmed.

  1. Till you can pay the debts its not too much but as soon as you are unable to pay then that would be too much of debts. And not paying the debt is going to ruin your credit.

If you are not able to manage to pay off you debts then you can go for a debt consolidation company. They can help you paying off your debts by contacting your creditors and negotiating on your behalf you reduce you debts. After that they would provide you with an affordable debt management plan wherein you have to pay only one monthly installment.

Here is the source of a debt consolidation company named http://ezconsolidation.com for your reference
