If I am behind on payments on a line of credit and my state doesn't allow wage garnishment, what's the worst that can happen??

  1. If they get a judgement, they can garnish your bank account or put a lien on your home.  This will also affect your credit.  Call the creditors and try to get on payment programs.  They will generally stop late charges, lower or stop your interest and lower your payments.  Good Luck!   ***


  2. Prima you will get bad credit. All your credit card limits will likely be dropped over the next couple of months and you will no longer be able to get loans.
