Debutant Eric Wisely to fight against Charles Oliveira at UFC on FOX 2 – UFC News
On January 28, 2011, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will hold UFC on FOX 2. The event is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas. One of the bout for the lightweight division would feature Brazilian mixed martial art (MMA)
fighter Charles Oliveira fight against American MMA fighter Eric Wisely.  According to sources, both the fighters have given their agreement in facing each other when UFC on FOX 2 is held amid screaming MMA an UFC fans in Las Vegas.
Oliveira would certainly be looking forward for his bout against Wisely, who will be making his UFC debut. Oliveira made his MMA professional debut in March 2008 and had a successful start. He was unbeaten since his entry in the
MMA division. He enjoyed a consecutive winning streak of fourteen bouts.
He made his successful UFC debut in August 2010 against Darren Elkins at UFC Live event in San Diego, California. His first loss came at UFC 124 in December 2011 against Jim Miller followed by another loss against Donald Cerrone
at UFC Live event in August 2011. With two back-to-back defeats, Oliveira certainly needs a win to get his UFC career back on track.
On the other hand, Wisely has lost only one of his bouts out of the seven he contested in. The 27-year-old Wisely has made his mark in the Strikeforce division with some impressive wins.  He is also famous for winning bouts against
veterans in the UFC with the likes of Matt Veach and Hermes Franca.
Oliveira has been fighting in the UFC since 2010 but at UFC on FOX 2, he would be making his featherweight debut against Wisely. Oliveira did fight quite a few times in the lightweight and the catchweight division, but for his
fighting in the featherweight division would be a first.
Both fighters would be excited for their bout at UFC on FOX 2. For Oliveira, this would be a fight where he would focus on a win to get himself a third UFC win. He has fought in UFC five times and could win only twice. For him,
beating the debutant Wisely would not be a big problem for Wisely would not know how to operate inside the UFC ring as much as Oliveira would. Although Wisely has been in the MMA division for nearly two years, still his debut UFC bout would have some pressure
on his mind.
