Theres probably no truth to this. People thought the world would end during Y2K, it didnt, people thought it would end on 666, it didnt. People just like to think these up to create a panic.

Take heed, but fear not young man for 2012 is just the revealing of the 'antichrist' or the 'man of lawlessness' at the middle of what Jews and Christians call the 7 year Tribulation. Youtube is not a respected source of scientific information.  Quite the opposite.  Youtube is renowned throughout academia as a source of flaky pseudoscience.  If you are writing a report or an article, you do not cite articles found in "Jack and Jill" or the "Children's book of Astronomy".  Youtube material falls into that category, only somewhat lower.  Teachers or Editors will laugh at you and give you a bad grade and they will write uncomplimentary things about you on the margins of your paper.  Likewise any serious mention as 2012 as the end of the world will cause intelligent people to smile ever-so-politely,  turn away, and snicker once your are out of hearing range.  .

Haha, no it isn't. It is backed by "prophecies" which is nothing more than a tangled web of flawed logic. Come on, Nibiru? With a 36,000 year orbit? First of all, Nibiru is an ancient term for "Jupiter" and Jupiter does not have a 36,000 year orbit. There is no science behind it at all.
