Deceased loved ones appearing in my dreams?

lost a close friend of mine last September. She was 22. she died with her 1 year old son and her sister in law in a car accident. At the time of her death she and I hadn't talked in 4 years and I didn't know she had died until almost 3 weeks later.

3 weeks after she died another friend died. he was also 22. Also in a car accident.

Then back in March I lost another friend, he was 21. He drowned after getting drunk so he could do a really stupid dare. He should've known better.

I am not a religious person, I'm agnostic, but after all this I've turned to religion to try and help me cope. Whether I will join a church or any religion in particular is still up in the air. Right now I just want to get better.

Well about 2 months ago my dead friends started appearing in my dreams. The first friend never talks to me in my dreams but her son is always playing with me. I never met her son when he was alive. Usually when the 2nd friend appears in my dreams he's always playing basketball (He was an athelete). I'm usually sitting in the bleachers watching or playing some 1 on1 with him when the baby appears again and wants to play some more.

I swore that if the 3rd friend ever came to visit me in my dreams I was going to punch him for the stupid thing he did. when he did appear I was going to punch him when the baby appears again wanting to play some more.

someone at work, who is really religious, said that if a deceased loved one appears in your dreams, it's their way of telling you that they've crossed over or something like that.

that being said, can anyone interpret this? My friend said that it's just her son making up for the time I never got to have with him. I'm open to dream analysis, religion etc.

  1. you Dream about them because you think about them to much. There going to appear in your dreams if you think about them appearing in your dreams. Find something to take your mind off of them like a hobby. And your drowning drunks friend, i agree is an idiot, and i would also enjoy punchig him.

  2. First off, I'm sorry for your loss(es). It sounds like your friends are trying to contact you in some way. telling you that there ok. your friend may be on to something about the time never spent. but i think her son playing with you is her way of seeing you cuz you guys hadn't talked for 4 years. so maybe that's why she doesn't talk in your dreams. was basketball your guy's thing? maybe it's there way of saying good bye. and DON'T stop thinking about them. celebrate their lives by living yours to the fullest extent. I'm not religious and I'm no expert but this sort of thing has happened to me.

  3. I'll just forward a link to better explain this.  All dead leave the realm of the world and go to the realm of the spirit so what your friend told you it's the dead's sign to you that they passed over is baseless.  Any person who dies passes over.  Their spirit remains in limbo till the day all souls are resurrected and made accountable for all deeds, words and acts and compensation is made.  These people need you to pray for them, and ask their kin to stop grieving.  The child's spirit is joyous as you see him playing.  No need to punch the other friend.  He's already done himself enough wrong.  Take a look anyway:
