Why is everyone saying tha in sometime in December of 2012 its doomsday?

no one knows for sure.

seriously, these "scientist" could be the same ones who are now saying they found DNA proof of "big foot" in Georgia.

I dont cnow. (my cey between j and l doesnt worc) It's because of the extremely accurate myan calendar, and they were right about when they were going down. a few years ago, as you might remember, everybody said that 2000 was doomsday. By the way, it's the 12th. 12/12/12.

I bet $1000 that 12/21/12 is not doomsday. This prediction is based only upon ignorance and lies. The reason so many people repeat that absurd prediction is because some people love to believe nonsense and are too lazy to do any research about the factors involved.

the 2012 thing came from the ancient Mayan calendar.  they were right about a lot of things, so people think they might be right about this too.  at the same time....the world didn't end on 6/6/6...its all a matter of opinion. only time will tell!

The world isn't going to end in 2012. God said that He would come back for his believers and then the Apocalypse would begin. The Apocalypse will  occur when Christians are already in heaven. The non-Christians on Earth at that time will go through a very hard time. The world will be pure evil and at the end of that, the non-Christians can chose to be saved. If they do not, they will spend the rest of their life in h**l. Yikes!

But, God did say that this Apocalypse would be unexpected and that when He sent His Son Jesus Christ down to rescue all the Christians, no one would have been able to determine His timing.

Now, do you think the Mayans could defy God?  Nope!
