  1. No.

  2. Hello,

The day will come and go with some events from plane and car accidents to a skirmish here and there, some natural disaaters as always but we shall be toasting the New Year 10 days later and once again listening to a litany of excuses why the end never came and then our time with the Grim Reaper shall be reschedualed.

    Cheers,

    Michael Kelly

  3. Here is a list of years that was supposed to be the true "end".

    1999.

    2000.

    2003.

    2005.

    2007.

It's currently 2008, nothing is going to happen.

  4. probably not, but ya never know cuz only god can decide when the world ends so i wouldn't worry too much about it.

  5. Surely, God knows when it will truly end. We people, do not know when.

  6. The Mayan calender does not predict the end of the world in 2012, it has merely been interpreted as such by various scholars. The 2012 date is a 'window date at best,' of around 20 too 30 years or so. What is known with some certainty, is that the Mayan calender does foretell of a major chaotic event happening anywhere from 2012 too 2040/50, for planet earth. But it is certainly not the end of the world.

  7. Are you doubting about it.

  8. A rumor is not a rumor that doesnt die. Nevertheless...

I've lived through two falsely predicted doomsdays (01-01-2000 and 6-6-06) and I'm not sure I have the hope left for a third.

Most of the people I've met would be better off dead, so let's keep those fingers crossed.

  9. There has been speculation that this might be the end of the world.  We can't see into the future to really know if this is true or not, so until then just enjoy life!

  10. The Mayan calendar ends the cycle,13baktun, and an astronomic event happens that day, the sun aligns with the center of our galaxy the milky way.

There are 4 groups of people :

First one believes that  a major catastrophic event will happen that day , possible polar shift ,or explosion of a nova star,or comet collision and so forth.

    2. It is going to be a shift in consciousness, the world as we know will end but not destructively.(this would be a very good scenario)

3.Ufo will appear to all humanity which will cause tremendous changes  for all of us

    4.NOTHING WILL HAPPEN.

We will just have to wait and see.

  11. I wish !

  12. It's hard to tell with a solar equilibrium forcasted on that day, but, the Mayan calender does not end that day, it restarts.  According to them it's just a new age.

  13. good joke,  got another one, dope?

  14. I predict this hotel will be standing until I pay my bill...

  15. I doubt it. I believe we all have more suffering to go through here.

  16. Based on what?  The Aztec Calendar?  Do you know that the Aztecs failed to predict they own end through assimilation?  What makes anyone believe that they were capable of predicting the world's end?

The Aztecs abandoned work on their calender when they got to the year 2012.  It doesn't mean that that's when they believed it would all end.  They were either overrun by enemies, fleeing from plague or some other natural disaster or experienced some kind of major civil unrest which made them stop working on their calendar.  So work stopped, remember that they were not computer-generating calenders but chipping away at stone because something made them leave town in a hurry.

Consider also that the Aztecs, like other Peoples interested in calendar-making and star gazing, couldn't care less about what was going to happen in 2012.  They were only concerned with their own every day affairs and not with what was going to happen to an unknown people in the 21st. Century.  So they weren't trying to predict the end of the world, they didn't even predict their own end shortly after they stopped working on their calendar!

    P.S.

Mayan Calendar is sometimes called the Aztec Calendar (It is actually a Mesoamerican Calendar).

  17. nope it is just the end of the mayan calendar. All they planned to do was start it up again

  18. Yogi is right it is simply the end of an era so to speak not the end of the world that is misinterpritation of our part.

  19. well this is just stupid

  20. The end of what? Big Brother? I hope so!

  21. it is a misinterpretation of the Mayan calendar. it is simply the end of one cycle of time and the beginning of a new cycle.

i am tired of explaining the rest of the reasoning behind this. do some research on Mayan culture and beliefs.

  22. FFS not again! I'm really getting fed up of this question being asked at least 3 times a week, do you people not read anything posted by anyone else?

December 12 2012 is the day that the 13th ba'k'tun, Great Cycle, ends. so when a calendar ends what happens? We bloody well start a new one. If any of you had actually bothered to look this up, you would find a small, but crucial detail to this. it's the end of the 5th World. whjat does that tell you? there have been 4 before this one, and we survived whatever it is that we are meant to believe will happen, personally i think it will be a Seldon crisis-type situation (read Foundation if you don't understand that phrase, i've wasted enough time explaining all this for the umteen-millionth time)

  23. no

no one knows when it's going to end

and when it ends, it'll restart

all i know is the trucks are coming

  24. no thats the end of your phone number now go call it with your area code and leave us alone.

  25. Do NOT click the link from baftdeb u or baftqes f. They and baehtoo e (probably same user) are posting this everywhere. It is a malware link and will destroy your system. Report them, they have already done damage. If enough of us report them they will get the jail time they deserve (up to 30 years).
