Decent apartment building in Toronto near Subway line?

Question

Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent apartment building in Toronto. doesn't have to be downtown, just as long as it's a safe area and the rent isn't sky high (looking to spend anywhere from 700-1000... but desperately trying to keep it at or under 900 - for a 1 bedroom) Prefer to be near Subway line or if there are any near Ryerson I should check out.

Also, how is the Woodbine/O'Connor area? I don't know this area at all.

I dont know a specific apartment building, but you should be able to find a decent one for that price. Just try and find one that is along or close to yonge street and you can hop a subway right to ryerson.
