Decent piercing places?

Question

looking for a piercing place in MD or DC where they don't id bc I'm only 16 and don't feel like having the piercing convo with my mom but i wont do anymore at home piercing ((did my cartilage but it was only by the grace of god that it didn't turn out totally fudged)). pls don't post any reprimanding answers. ill just report it as abuse of delete it. I'm asking for help either simply answer my question or move on with your life

There's no place that's decent that won't ID.

it really depends what you are getting pierced. any ear piercing can be done without ID, unless you are getting pierced in the cartilage with a needle (which, you already have done anyways). ear lobe piercings can be done anywhere, at the mall, at Claire's, at most hair salons/makeup places, and even Walmart.

other than that, if you are going to a professional piercer for something other than your ear, some places will allow you to be 16 without a parent. you will still need to show Id to prove you are actually 16, but you won't need parental consent.

other places (and for certain piercings) require you to be 18, and unfortunately there is no way of getting around it. they could be held responsible if any legal action were to be taken upon them by your parents, so depending on the place, they can refuse you.

if you are planning on a piercing other than the ear lobe, call a few piercing places in your area and ask about age requirements. you may be surprised at what you could get done without parental consent at age 16.

Claire's, everyone who does it is certified, and they didn't check my friend, even though she offered to.
