Decide to go to school or get a job?

Question

I am a 57 year old women worked for a printing coompany for 20 years , hard work , standing on my feet 8 hrs a day, 6 days a week. Company went to Mexico so they shut the plant here. Have to decide to go to business technology or get a lower paying job , I cant do production any more, body shot.What to do?

If i were you i will try to find other job because if you go back to school what can you take? It will take at least 1 year to 2 years to finsihed a basic program.  Don't waste your money on your study becasue they are a lot of younge people out there completing with you.  And your chance is not higher than them.  It's a risk.

You should go to school, at least at night (or distance learning over the internet) while working during the day.  After you have been working for a while, many employers will pay part or even all of your tuition, as long as the degree you are pursuing is related to your work.  Even if you get only an associate's degree, that will likely increase your pay.
