Deciding between cameras...?

I'm looking for a new digital camera, and I'm trying to decide between the Canon Powershot SX100IS and the Nikon Coolpix P80. I've heard good things about both of them, but the Nikon is a little bit more expensive than the Canon and also has a much better zoom. Any suggestions?

  1. go canon, way cooler :P

  2. u should take the one that has best picture quality..=]

  3. It depends what you're going to be ok with spending. I know the Nikon's more expensive (by $150~) but it has a lot better zoom and better features that do make up a much nicer overall package...

however, do read some review on them... see what they're about.. and how they work.

Whethere or not it's the right camera for you is hard to say. They're both good camera's with pro/cons.

  4. i choose Nikon P80 and i found cheaper P80 in this..

    Price is $333.89

    and cheaper SX100IS

    Price : $222.95

  5. I am a Canon fan, so if I HAD to pick between those, it would be the Canon, although I couldn't live without a viewfinder which only the Nikon has. Tough choice, this is why I chose the Kodak Z812 IS. Good Luck.
