The Italian international has claimed that he requested the Nerazzurri chairman to allow him to join Paris Saint Germain.

The midfielder requested club President, Massimo Moratti, to allow him to leave despite the club’s reluctance in selling him before the summer transfer window. Motta completed his move to the French outfit on the last day of winter
transfer window, and the midfielder is looking forward to progress with his new club.
The player was talking to the media in a press conference after his departure from Italy where he said:
“I am very happy to be here, in an ambitious and prestigious side like Paris Saint-Germain. I’m also pleased to be reunited with old friends and am extremely motivated.”
The midfielder insisted that the Italian giants were keen to keep him at San Siro, but he was looking forward to a new experience outside Italy. The 29-year-old thanked the former Italian Champions for the support throughout his
career, and insists that playing for the Nerazzurri has been an honour for him.
“I asked Inter President Moratti to give me this opportunity to join Paris Saint-Germain, as there comes a time in which a player has to have a change of scenery. This was a chance I really wanted to take. There were no problems
with Inter, as I always got on well with all the Coaches I worked with and playing here is a privilege.”
The Brazilian-born midfielder is confident that a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 will not effect his position for a national team place. Motta is one of the key members of Gli Azzurri squad after making his Italian debut last year.
The Italian international joined the Nerazzurri from Serie A outfit, Genoa, in 2009, and went onto score 11 goals in 55 league appearance for them.
La Beneamata signed Fredy Guarin as a replacement for Motta on the last day of January transfer window.
