Question:

Deck, bearing, or wheels?

Well, I was skating with my friend the other day and I noticed that my board was not going to fast. My friend picked up the board and said it was kinda heavy. Is my deck too heavy, are my bearings too slow, or are my wheels trashed? My wheels are cheap c**p wal-mart ones, but don't have any flat spots or anything and seem fine. My deck is a blank. My bearings are Pig Checks and seem pretty fine actually.

  1. well i have a heavy deck but it rides just fine. check ur bearings and clean them

  2. is probabli ur deck it might b heavi wood u should prbabli get  new 1!!

  3. maybe it's your deck depends on what your wood is.

  4. you might have heavy wood for you deck get your self a nice light deck

  5. Well, your deck should not cause any real problems unless you are really good and then you could notice the difference...

I think the most likely problem is that your bearings are dirty...

Do you remember a time (when it was new maybe) that the board went faster? If so, then look online for how to clean your bearings...

If you've used your skateboard for more than a month than this is the most likely problem.
