Declaring Gambling Winnings in Canada?

Does anybody know if you need to declare gambling winning, specifically horse racing, in Canada?

If so, what is the dollar point where you have to declare it?

Gambling winnings in Canada is tax free. Furthermore if you win in big in Las Vegas (over 1200) the casino will deduct 30% tax from your winnings. If you are a Canadian citicen you can apply to any US, IRS office to get the taxed winnings back.
