7 day log on what happens to newspaper in wet and dry sand and wet and dry soil.

You know, I've never done this experiment so I don't have a log that I can type in for you.

If I were you, I would also compare shredded newspaper and stacked newspaper in each case.

Overall, I would guess that shredded newspaper decomposes fastest in wet dirt, and stacked newspaper decomposes slowest in dry sand.  

But you can just set up 8 containers, and look at them once a day to confirm this.
