Decor help for my room please?

Question

I am in the process of redesigning my room.

I decided not to change the wall colors so this may be a little tricky...pastel yellow walls and a really light pink ash wood furniture. I love vintage, victorian style, but with like modern accents (if that makes any sense..)

I already picked out the bedding...here is your job...I have a nice size room and would like an area rug and one, possibly two chairs as seating near my television.

As of right now I have a poposon chair which is ok but i'd like to have something different...and I have an old Victorian Antique Chair that was my Great Grandmother's which is too valuable to sit in...

so...something new that is unique for seating?

and an area rug?
