Decorate you fish tank?

hey i have a 20 gallon tank should i keep my tank bare with just gravel or should i add decorations im getting goldfish

I think it is always cool to make your own if you get clay and make your own. Stickers work. the kind that are put on the inside of a window and viewed from the outside. Hmmm you could take pumus rock and lightly put something on the top to make it smooth but not heavy and paint it to look like something cool (E.g. An eye, island or even a duck!). I don't know you can get very creative!

Add decerations!  Fish like places to hide and it will also add something to ur tank so it's not so boring!  Good Luck:)

Yes you should add decorations, otherwise the goldfish will feel scared and threatened. Mostly fake plants but you can add some real ones every once in a while. They love to munch on them and they are good nutrition for them. They also like clay pots that haven't been broken -- for caves, and ones that have been broken in half -- to swim under.

I hope you know you can only get two fancy goldfish or 1 big common or a couple little baby commons.

It really depends on the type of goldfish, the bubble eye goldfish can not have any decorations in there tank, or else there delicate eyes could get hurt. You can add a black piece of paper covering a corner from top to bottom so the goldfish can hide, without risking its eyes. If you have other fancy variety's, decorations are pretty er that a big black corner, and the decorations will provide hiding spots for the fish that they need! Decorate your heart away!! Fish love to have their surrounding resemble their natural habitat, then they are at their happiest...I have live and fake plants, logs with holes at they swim in and out of, rocks, a huge conk shell, and I plan on creating a live plant curtain that will hang on one side of my tank..
