Decorating Bedroom...Need Help..?

Question

I am a sixteen year old girl and I want to change my room from a really girly room into one that is more me now..My room was painted pink with ballerinas when I was four and it is still that way now. I was thinking something nautical, as I want to join the navy but I still want it to have a feminine touch. Any ideas? Preferably low budget sort of stuff.

ok. I would paint the room just off white and perhaps and you could have a border around the middle of the walls with some sort of nautical theme, then you could paint the bottom of the walls very pale blue. Have feminine bedding and throw cushions, candles etc to give it the girly touch. Hope this helps. Good luck

Gray and white would do, to ease the dullness of that color match it with any shade of blue furniture and a mix of white and blue curtain.

I am thinking like  a white and navy blue theme with an accent color of bright yellow. The walls could be white with a navy blue accent wall.  Bright yellow accents could be scattered around the room. Check out http://www.potterybarn.com/ for more ideas and matching products. Good Luck!
