i have a front foyer that is 6 1/2 feet by 6 1/2 feet with a bench on one side and a closet on the other side and a door at each end. im trying to remodel/redecorate it because we are selling our house. but every web site i go to only has foyer decoratin for a big area with stairs in it. i cant use any big furniture in there because its a small space. (the measurments i took include the closet and the bench) so im wondering if anyone has any ideas for a room this small to make it look nice.

  1. My idea is just by a love seat with maybe a small rug in the middle or something, a glass table (With flowers of course) some plants can lighten up any room. An old rocking chair or something like that maybe and few wall sconces but not lights the take your attention from the rest of the room. Put some paintings on the wall and pretty much you have a front foyer small, but cozy.

  2. Since your space is limited, how about replacing the bench with a half round table with a mirror above and a pretty dish for keys, etc.  Make sure the foyer light has been updated and the paint is nice and fresh..

All the tv shows make it clear that you want to show off every foot of floor space you can.

    Good luck with the sale.

  3. try using a nice foyer light ie, the ones with fancy coverings.  Also, a nice decorative shelf, or pub mirror on the wall with hooks that lets the person hang their coat up. Also, get some throw pillows to put on the bench to give it a cozy atmosphere. less is more, but make it cozy and functional.
