  1. I'd paint the walls with a satin finish emulsion.  Easy to clean when your little one puts grubby fingermarks on everything.  I'd avoid wallpaper. It looks pretty, but she will soon be at an age where she will try pulling off strips.

For colours, look at what is in your existing furniture, carpet or curtains.  Choose a much lighter shade of the main colour to complement and bring the whole effect together.  Or magnolia is a neutral shade that suits almost anywhere.

  2. For furniture idea's go to www.funkythings.co.uk

It really is worth while - i redecorated my flat with this site souly.

    I swear by it

    Good Luck

  3. for the livivg room you should try blue and brown and cream paint 3 walls these colours and get a nice wallpaper which has these colours in it and cover the 4th wall

for your bedroom try green and cream again paint three walls these colours and the 4th wallpaper it with a matching wallpaper

for the kitchen and bathroom just paint plain colour to match the rest of the decor

do your hallway like a cream colour

if you want to keep your daughters pics you could always get some cheap frames and frame them that way they will look much neater!!!

this should really modernise your house!

    gud luk!

    hope this helped!

  4. Paint your walls with lighter shades.Have some hanging pot plants.

    then consult a professional.
