Decorating help!?

i want to decorate my room emo style (thats the way i want it, and im not labeling myself) but i cant afford to paint or buy furniture (im 13). and my walls are (ugh) yellow. how do i tone down the yellow and bring a darker mood to the room? (oh, and something that won't freak my parents out either, please) thanks

if you are thinking of painting your room black...and not freaking your parents out...tell them that you saw it on HGTV and be sure to paint the trim/molding white.

Black walls are so HOT right now as long as you do it right! :)

put poetry pages onto   corkboards but spray paint the corkboards black first
