  1. That's a tough one, not knowing what kind of work you are doing. Whatever you do, try to make it bright (so it shows up) and put the word "TIPS" on it really big so people know what it's for. Good Luck!

  2. If you like the stained glass look there is a simple way to make one on any clear glass jar.  You will need tissue paper in several colors and a bottle of 'Mod Podge' available in craft stores.  You will also need a paint brush to use to spread the Mod Podge.  Simply brush the MP on the jar in an even layer and tear pieces of the colored tissue and place them on the sticky layer.  If you overlap pieces stroke some MP in between.  Let this layer dry then spread a thin layer of MP over the top of the tissue.  You may do the top layer once or two or three times.  Then take a black permanent marker or black tube paint and follow the edges of the colored paper to make the stained glass lines.  Once it's dry the jar should shine for all to see.  Good luck on your contest.

  3. get the gel paint stuff and do a bunch of random cool designs in  a bunch of bright colors.

  4. Photo copy some ones, fives, tens, and small change.  Glue the sheets to the jar.  It'll be a good suggestion for customers to put their money in.
