Decorating my room?

Question

im decorating my room and i dont know what to do...

what colours to paint it or what to decorate it with and what furniture

pics would be helpful, but its ok

im 14 btw

You need to first think what sort of theme you would like and then work towards that.  If you need new curtains and bed linen buy those before you choose your paint colour.  Not the other way around.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would look terrific to paint your room "lavender wisp" (# 7138) and then get some really pretty spring green bedding, like one of these:
