Reading the posting below about deep-fried Mars Bars (sounds yummy), made me wonder, what's the strangest items you've had that were deep-fried? Cmon fellow Americans, we have the strangest carnival food, but are there even more bizarre items worldwide?

I'll start-how about battered deep-fried dill pickles? (Missouri)

Also, a "curly dog", which was simply a hot dog that is scored with a knife on the outside. It curls when its deep fried.
