Deep cut needs help =|

Question

I cut myself.

In the middle of my arm.

About an inch wide.

Its bleed for awhile.

I need tips on how to help it heal.

I would put some Betadine Solution on it and let it dry.  Then go to the drug store to get a special Band Aid made by Johnson & Johnson for Advanced Healing.  One large enough to cover your wound.  Just look for the MOST expensive band aid.  Put it on your wound but don't use any type of creams or solutions first.  You want the wound to be clean when you apply it.  Over a period of days you will notice a little bubble form on the band aid as your wound heals.  That is normal.  Wear it for several days or until it wears itself off.  (Just follow the directions on the box...)   It is better than stitches.  Cheaper too.  OR you can just get some super glue, hold your wound together, and glue  it closed.  Hold it closed until the glue is dry.    If you haven't had a tetanus shot in over 10 years, you may need another one.  Good luck!

If it's deep, you need to go get stitches. If you think it's shallow enough, just go get some Liquid Band Aid and replace it every day.
