Where is the Deepest Valley found?

There might be some cracks on some moons whose depth we can't know yet, but Valley Marineris, on Mars, is the deepest and the biggest we know.

However, the Peru-Chile trench on earth would be good competition for it if we didn't count the water that it is filled with. That is, compared to the height of the Andes mountains right next to it. The deepest trench on earth is the Marianis Trench. Interesting similarity in names. It might actually be a little deeper than the Valles Marineris on Mars, but it's under the ocean.

That distinction belongs to Cotahuasi Canyon in southewestern Peru. Cotahuasi Canyon was cut by the Rio Cotahuasi, a tribuatary of the Rio Ocona, to a depth of approximately 3354 meters - over twice the depth of the Grand Canyon!
