  1. first check local regulations concerning baiting/ food plots for deer.  then consider where and what type of deer you are after.  if they are suburban deer that are used to browsing backyards, there are a lot of perennial shrubs such as white cedar, euonymous, and several garden plants that will attract them.  think about what deer are used to eating.  they are at first afraid to try new things, so if you plant something foreign to them, it may take a while to get them interested.  if you live more in the country, try to mimic local food sources, whether from crop fields or fruit/acorn producing trees.  all that being said, a local variety of clover is likely a good choice no matter where you are.    as far as a bow, i recommend shooting as many as you can before buying.

  2. alfalfa. choosing a bow is relevent to your strength, size, and experience. You need to spend some time reading and familiarize yourself with the ins and outs of choosing a bow.

  3. This is a great question. #1 deer baiting has become illegal in MI. in the last week. This will hurt the chances of the little guy when he has a small piece of property and your neighbor has 40 acres and a food plot. All the deer will be on his property unless you plant a garden.

Garden suggestions: fall- deer are attracted to carrots, rutabagas, and field corn.Salt is illegal. a garden isn`t  For summer clean off some of your lawn and plant a perennial called Rape or Cover.

Any Renegade bow will work as long as it is over 40 lb. It`s the person behind the bow, and the amount of practice. Most important don`t let anyone tell you how to hunt.

    Keep it legal.

  4. You are pathetic. I am not against hunting, but baiting is wrong.

  5. salt l**k?
