The retired Spanish footballer expressed that the Spanish capital-based club will suffer in the aftermath of a defeat, if they are beaten against their traditional rivals over the weekend.

The match which will take place at the Nou Camp can act as the catalyst in Jose Mourinho’s ambition to lead the Santiago Bernabeu outfit to silverware, since a victory on Saturday can take them 7 points clear at the top of the Spanish Primera Division’s
league standings.
However, a loss at the hands of the current Spanish champions can complicate matters for Los Merengues as it will reduce their advantage over Barca in the league table to just one point.
The difference between the two Spanish giants in the standings currently stands at four points and the title race is all open for both sides.

have reduced this advantage to just four points.
Morientes believes that Los Blancos are already under pressure because Barcelona’s comeback in the race for the title was quite unexpected.

While talking to reporters, the Spaniard was quoted as saying:
"If Barca win they will fill Madrid with fear in their bodies, because in just a short time they will have seen their 10-point cushion [dramatically] reduced, the psychological aspect will be a determining factor in the game."
Saturday’s El Clasico is one of the most anticipated games of the season and is expected to be heavily competitive. No matter what the final result is, it can be presumed that the fans are in for a delicious footballing treat.
