Question:

Defective Fujifilm Z5 Camera- Urgent!?

So I just got this camera from my aunt and uncle for my alaska trip in nine days. I used it a few times, quite successfully. I was coming home from a walk one day, and I tried to take a picture, but when I turned the camera on it was all white with some dark blotches that looked like spilled ink! It's still like this a few days later, I can't do anything with it. I really need this. It was in a protective case I have for it the whole time, and I'm sure it didn't bump anything or get dropped. WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW CAN I FIX IT?!?!? :(

  1. Does your camera look something like this?

If so, the LCD is broken. You'll have to send it in for service or find a repair place that fixes cameras. Because this is always user-inflicted damage and never a manufacturing fault, the customer foots the bill for repair (meaning it's not covered by the warranty); its likely to cost more than $100.

Large amounts of applied pressure or a sharp blow to the screen are main causes.
