Defective goods from ebay?

i have just received a nail gun(used) from a seller on ebay. the nail gun does not operate correctly.how do i go about getting my money back.the bill was paid using paypal

If the seller described the nail gun in good condition, good working order etc email the seller first to say that the description wasn't correct and that item doesn't work. Say that you would like a refund. If the seller agrees then send item back recorded delivery otherwise they could claim that they never received it.

If the seller doesnt want to give you a refund open a dispute in paypal. To do this log into your paypal account and click on the item (it should be in your 'sent payments' list) if you scroll down to the bottom of the page in very small writing there is the word 'resolution' click on that and then go from there. Just say it's not as described and paypal will do the rest. :O)
