Defending others freedom(country wise)?

i am writing an essay on if america should protect other countries freedom. my position is not to help other countries unless necessary.

what would be 2-3 good topic sentences on why going into other countries to protect their freedom is bad.

America has never gone to the aid of other countries to defend their freedom. It has given that as an excuse for invasion. Sorry, an altruistic war is an oxymoron.

So going to other countries  to protect their freedom has never happened yet in human history despite what the US may think it has done in the past.

Countries have a overblown goody image of themselves. Soldiers in a war who can kill dozens of people get medals for doing so. Never mind if these people were not armed or dangerous.

What the US has to work out for itself first is to respect the freedoms of others no matter how bad they may seem to the US.

In other words you may dislike g**s, but you are not allowed to beat them up or kill them.
