Question:

Defending yourself against men larger than you are...?

I may have to defend myself against someone who is taller than myself, I come up to his chin. Any tips/tricks on how to fight someone taller/larger than you? Is it easier for me to strike his chin and harder for him to hit mine? I'd assume so. Anyway, thanks.

  1. You are smaller and quicker than he is, if he tries to punch you go for the ribs. Or if you get in back of him try the kidneys. Never turn your back thats when you are in trouble and never kick in the croch unless you have to even though its a street fight it seams sissy.

    I have been taking Kempo Karate for seven years and im a black belt. Somethimes its easier to fight a bigger guy unless he grabs you. If that happens try elbows or knees or throw yourself to the ground, but make sure your in a good position to do that.

  2. aim low! and dodge, duck, dip, dive, and... dodge! it sounds like ur afraid of fighting this guy, so try to avoid it. i don't mean run away, but try to find other alternatives. u can't learn how to fight properly in a short amount of time so if u have no fighting experience, it'd be better for u if u didn't fight.

  3. the bigger they are the harder that they fall don't you know , work outside of them find their weakness  

  4. Use the "Beckham", a swift kick in the nuts brings down the biggest, !!

  5. Do whatever you have to to win, so if it involves kicking him in his nuts, then do it.

  6. Work your way around to the side and hit him just above his hip or waistline. That's were your kidneys are. Not protected by your ribs, it will definitely hurt anyone regardless of their size. Big fellas usually have a little more padding around that area, but bruise either of them and he'll be pissin' blood for days.

    Another strategy would be to work the legs either with kicks just above the knee or take 'em down to the ground and work from there.

    If you know ahead of time, just avoid him.

    A good, swift kick to the gonads will level anyone of any size.

  8. You can usually tell someone whose never been in a high stress fight by the fact they believe kicking a guy in the crotch is a one-hit, perfect fight ender. Under stress and high adrenaline, the testicles will retract against or even into the body to protect themselves.

    The best principles for fighting someone bigger or stronger than you is simple:

    - When he pulls, you push. (Move with him but faster)

    - When he pushes, you pull. (Move with him but faster)

    - When he tries to hit you, turn to the side. (Deflect or make a narrower target)

    - When he tries to grab you, don't be there. (Move to where you're safe)

    You're the one who has to defend yourself, so the outcome is always in your hands. You can control his movement by pinning his foot (stepping on it), which may help you. If you can get on the outside of his body and get a hand up, pushing up on the bottom of the nose will allow you to control where he moves( have someone push under your nose while you try to walk forward).

    If you don't want to get seriously hurt (and you will get hit if you fight), just don't be there. Don't give him the opportunity. It's easier than you think.


  9. get up close to him so he cant punch you effectively. uppercut him and he will tire out
