    My dad has what you would call a cockney accent as he grew up Canning Town and I grew up in Hackney not far both in East London but we both have different accents mine is what I call new London accent while my older brother has what you would call a posh one showing you if my family alone has more than one accent and we all born in the same city the whole of Britain has many by the way I seriously dont know why me and my brother speak different

  3. No such thing, there is such a wide variety of accents spoken within these islands, that the only terms that have  any validity are those describing a regional or local accent, i.e. Glaswegian, or South Yorkshire.
