Hunter Gatherers are small bands of 20 to 40 people.  HGs have a low material culture and gain most of their food resources from gathering.  Hunting is done but in the majority of HG bands hunting doesn't provide a statistically significant amount of their food resources.  They produce expedient weapons from what they find, making spear and arrow heads from Flintknapping.  They are usually nomadic and have seasonal rounds mobility patterns.

mainly they gather food, but they also hunt it to some degree. usually nomadic, moving on when an area is no longer producing food. often in a pattern were they return to the same areas after the food sources have had time to replenish.

Making their living just hunting animals and gathering plants n fruit ... no agriculture, no handicraft, no industrial production ... maybe even nomads (if u have agriculture, u gotta stay with ur soil til ur crop ripens, at least).
