  1. You are way ahead of yourself. My son is going to culinary school in July. First off, go to culinary school. Do you know that there are other things that you may become? My son thinks he will be a chef too, but there are soo many other jobs that you may decide on. Between becoming a brewmaster to a cheese maker, to managing, to soo much more! I talked to a guy who graduated from a culinary school, and he said the options are unlimited. He thought he wanted to be a chef, and now he's not.

I knew a guy who cooked for a movie star. Another cooks for a big resort in Vegas.

It's good that you think you can open your own restaurant, but you are too far ahead of yourself. First off, you need LOTS of money. Second off, food is definately first. You said you would figure that out later. No way. You want a hang out joint. Well, you don't need a restaurant for that. And you will not find employees that will want to do it. Nobody wants to work. Where I work, I like the atmosphere. It's homely, and people do act like themselves. And it's been there, 50+ years. What you see as a fun place, doesn't mean everybody will see it as a fun place.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do!!

  2. rollercoasters, petting zoo, etc. nothing less than that otherwise its not going to be fun
